May the (Gale) force be with you

6.7km loop - 29:04. Due to the wind or at least that's my excuse...

Felt strong throughout but just didn't have any raw speed tonight. only out of bed at half 2 in the day & decided to stay at home to study so no cycle to college, although I did go for a walk around the block at about 3pm.

7:20 at the 1st time check, then 13:20, 16:30, 19:20, 22:49, 25:36. Not very far away from my usual, but I put it down to the wind, as although it wasn't that bad, it was noticable... temperatures were perfect & a slight mist, perfect for running really otherwise.

Can feel the autumn closing in, went out about 9:10 & it was getting dark, leaves falling of the trees etc...

Seem to be piling on the pounds these days (winter is coming!), the gut is in my opinion the worst it's ever been. I've got a proper spare tyre now, its unbelieveable still only tipping 77kgs on the scales (just a hair under 80kgs with clothes etc) but I've gotta cut some weight in the next month or 2, its ridiculous.

It's just weight that's waiting to fall off me once I do some proper base milage training & some shorter stuff on the track on a regular basis - nothing to worry about, but really, really annoying me - so that's good - have plenty of motivation to lose it.

Would love to hover around 70kgs, that'd be good, 67kgs would be ideal, although I may not feel the best at this wieght, so I'll get down to 72kgs & I'll see how I feel.

Will do some speedwork on sunday on the track, 5x1km repeats & then a mile repeat hopefully at the end, we'll see.
