1st March 2022 - 7.3k Kenton Library & back,
31:23 - same time as 6th Feb - in my view the time is absolutely terrible - however I know I am going very very slow.
I put the hammer down in the last 10 mins & really went to gain some time back but it never happened - oh well.
This was my 1st run in 8 days so patience is a virtue.
Delighted overall to be honest as I know there is a good deal more there.
Was happy too as I had plenty in reserves & had a good nights sleep previous so I went into the run fairly fresh (despite doing an 8 hr work day on my feet).
The main challenge was my chest - blew a few cobwebs out that's for sure - with plenty more to be blown out too!!!
Happy enough to be honest - I am paying next to no attention on the running front trying to prioritise my time for writing after work most days but I'm getting better - especially now with Craughwell around the corner - first big road race in 2 years - it's going to be great :-)
Need to implement some speedwork now on Thursday's run - then do a sharp 45 min run on Sat or Sun.
We'll get there.
